Most of my life I have been aware of how quickly change can happen when you see something in a new way. From a new perspective, or another persons point of view. I spent countless hours helping people do just that. I can’t even count how many trainings Ive taken and techniques I’ve learned, looking for a way that would help not just one person make profound permanent change but larger groups of people as well.
I took psychology courses and a addiction councilor training program in college. I became a Reiki teacher, Hypnotist, Huna healer, Massage therapist, Brennan School of Healing Graduate, NLP practitioner, Time Line therapist, and well the list goes on and on.
Some time ago I was having a conversation with a “life coach”. We were talking about helping people and how we can have a greater affect on more people. After a while he he asked me this question. “If you could be guaranteed success, what would you be doing for a living right now?”
Without hesitation I said NLP training's. Leading them and taking them. Then he asked me this next question. “What’s stopping you?” I told him that I had opened a Spa and I had made commitment to build it up and sell it. Then he asked another question that changed my point of view of the world. He said “If you were sailing a boat across the ocean, and two weeks into the voyage you realised you were 3 degrees off course. Would you just keep going? Or, would you change your course?” He explained that “3 degrees is a big deal when you are out in the ocean. You would definitely end up in a completely different location than you had planed on. He said “You made a commitment and you’ve been on that course for a while now. But, now you know you are off course. Are you just going to continue on that course because you made a commitment or are you going to change course?” That blew my mind. Was I actually committed to staying off course? Have you ever wondered if you were off course?
That moment I changed everything. I decided to change course. I knew I loved working with people and helping them see things in a whole new light. I realized how life altering it can be to have a someone help me see things from a completely new perspective. You see, you can’t know what you don’t know. The learning curve is so much faster and easier when you have someone showing you what’s out of your line of sight, what’s holding you back, what to focus on and what steps you need to take to get where you want to be.
NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programing) helps people communicate in ways that get extraordinary results like, getting more of what they want, create more possibilities, feel better, make more money, have better health, have great relationships and make a difference in the world with the gifts they already have. Of all the vast number of training's I've taken over the years, the influencing ability of NLP was far and away the best information I’d ever received.
So here I am now, doing what I love to do. I teach people to make a huge difference in their lives and by the shear ripple effect of that they effect the world. My students and clients are able to help people in their lives change their perspective and behaviors. By doing this we all continue to improve and develop and evolve. We are helping more and more people do what they love and enjoy life's journey. Plenty of people are having amazing results.
