Lilly's Table 06/03/2011
I was blessed in May to became a grand mother. Before she became a mom, my daughter-in-law was a personal chef. Needless to say those days are gone. Of course, she still loves to plan meals and cook while being an awesome mom to my grand daughter. So she created LillysTable.com. And I wanted to share it with all of you. If you are like me and you hate having to answer the question “What’s for dinner?” You will love Lilly's Table. It not only has weekly meal ideas for you, it also tells you how long it takes to make it, gives you a glycemic value, shows you how it will look when it’s done and generates a shopping list for you once you have chosen what you want to cook for the week. The other day Lilly sent me an email to make sure every one who checks out the sight early gets a special deal. I am including the email she sent me so that you can get the most out of your Lilly's Table experience. Add Comment Planting Happiness 03/21/2011
Have you ever planted something? As we’re getting closer to spring, I start thinking about planting things. Years ago I worked as a grounds keeper on a private estate. Among my many jobs on the estate, I was responsible for starting seeds for planting in the flower beds. The real secrets to success in planting seeds Was to get started early. I would start in late February setting up flats of soil, grow lights, watering systems and the like. I was always delighted when the first two leaves would pop up out of the soil. These days I don’t do much planting of flower seeds but I do plenty of planting ideas for success seminars. I don’t usually wait till spring to start planting my ideas. I usually start planting my ideas around New Years. Sometimes even December. This New Years I planted some great ideas that have already begun to pop up and grow new leaves. One of those “idea seeds” was the Wealthy Mind Weekend. A friend of mine called me to see if she could run me through some NLP processes designed to uncover and clear any limiting beliefs I had about money. Of course I said SURE! The results were phenomenal. We would no sooner complete one of the processes and I would book more new clients. More people were signing up for my trainings and I was feeling inspired and energized. I was able to imagine things out in my future that I was formerly unable to get clear about. Once I realized these results for myself I wanted to share it with everyone I knew. So I asked her if she would work with me to bring this Wealthy Mind Weekend to Philadelphia and she said yes. I have to say this is one of the most exciting seeds I've ever planted. It is amazing to me that changing your beliefs can have such an instantaneous effect. And I am very happy about that. Let me share my happiness with you. Check out the Wealthy Mind Weekend and let me know what you think. I’d love to see you plant and grow some seeds to attract abundance of your own. Sincerely Sharon What if there were a wind of abundance and happiness? I live in an exceptionally windy neighborhood. I noticed it shortly after I moved in. My neighbor told me that even though she has quite a few tall trees creating abundance of leaves, she doesn’t have much to rake in the fall, because of the way the wind blows through our neighborhood. The day after trash day I always have extra paper trash in my front yard. The trash collectors miss the truck with a few items and the wind blows it into my yard. When I first realized this was a problem I was working on neuro linguistic programming techniques of clearing negative thoughts out of my mind. I decided to extend part of this technique to include the trash in my front yard. I thought of the trash as random negative thoughts that I needed to clean up. This way I didn’t build up any resentments toward the trash collectors or my windy neighborhood. One day I was cleaning up the random trash (negative thoughts and limiting beliefs) in my front yard and I came across a twenty dollar bill. Well, that was a wealthy mind moment I hadn’t expected. It was almost as if money did grow on trees and I was picking up a leaf that fell from that money tree. This has happened many more times over the past few years that I’ve lived in this neighborhood. I’m sure I’ve picked up over one hundred dollars in fives, tens and twenties. It makes me laugh to think of how annoyed I could have decided to be about this whole windy trash situation. Instead I was practicing how to change beliefs and attracting wealth. Wealth can blow your way at the most unexpected moments. I would love to see you blow into our next Wealthy Mind Immersion Weekend or NLP training. Our trainings are loaded with NLP technology, so you can start manifesting wealth and prosperity. I used to snow ski when I was a teenager but that was a very, very, very long time ago. I had some limiting beliefs about weather or not I could do it. A friend of mine who loved to ski said she would like to have a ski buddy for the season and she goes skiing every other week. I took it slow and enjoyed meandering down the hill. I can’t say I improved a whole lot that season but my muscles got stronger and I didn’t fall too much. During the last trip to the ski slope that season I was meandering down the slope and absentmindedly crossed over a steeper hill where a snowboarder was coming down the hill. He and I managed to avoid a collision and at the last moment he fell in front of me as I came to a stop still upright. My friend came skiing over and said to the young man “don’t you know you are supposed to watch out for old ladies and children?” To which he replied “Old lady, I’m sure I am older than she is!” My friend said “How old are you?” He said “thirty!” Then my friend said “we are both in our fifty's.” That young man wiped his head around and stared right at me for what seemed like an eternity. Now my core belief was that he was studying every line in my face realizing how old I was. Then he said something amazing. He said “You look really good for your age.” I was completely blown away!! I was beaming with happiness for the next two days. That was the best moment I have ever had skiing. And I liked skiing a lot before that. You just never know when you are going to fall into an extraordinary moment of happiness. Register now for the next Wealthy Mind Weekend and improve some of your personal beliefs and values. Happiness and dancing where does that take you? A few years ago a friend of mine talked me into taking tango lessons. She said there was a great tango teacher who was teaching some grad students how to tango on Thursday evenings at Princeton University. She said she had received an email that was asking women to show up because there were mostly men in the class. Of course I had some limiting beliefs about learning such a difficult dance. We were both fifteen and twenty years older than these grad students but she assured me it would be a great way to learn tango. She was right. Because there were more men than women it didn’t matter how bad we were, someone would always want to dance with us. Talk about changing your beliefs and success training. We got really good really quickly. One night we were a bit late for class. As we approached the building where the lessons were held we could see through the window that all the men were dancing with each other because no women had shown up. When they saw us walk in the door they all stooped, applauded and cheered. That was a happy moment. It always feels good to be appreciated. That was the moment I started dancing with happiness. Take a moment now to appreciate yourself. I’m sure you are showing up for something and that can mean a lot more to someone than you can possibly be aware of. Register now for the next Wealthy Mind Immersion or NLP training. We will be happy to be your dance partner so you can start manifesting your abundance in our success training and creating extraordinary results in your life. Would you consider fish a source of happiness? In my last post I was talking about pets and happiness. But, what I didn’t mention was that I now have fish. Fancy guppies to be specific. I would not have thought of myself as some one who would enjoy having fish as pets. I would definitely enjoy a good fish meal but pet fish not so much. A few months ago a friend of mine was getting married and her fiance was going to be moving in with her. She told me he had an amazing fish tank and it wouldn’t fit in their new home. They had offered it to other people and no one else could take it, would I want it? I went over to see the tank and it was truly a beautiful tank. Five foot tall 54 gallons with rounded glass front that sat in the corner. I could find a place for it I thought, but what did I know about fish? Still it would be a shame if no one took the tank so I agreed to take it. I did know that according to Feng Shui experts, having a fish tank in the right place could help you attract wealth and prosperity. So I thought I’ll try it for a few months and see how it goes. I love it! There is something very tranquil, calming and peaceful about a fish tank. It seems to be having a soothing effect on my whole living room. It’s kind of “mesmerizing”. Dr Mesmer was a great hypnotist. No one called it hypnosis back in his day but his work eventually lead to the study of Hypnosis. Happy fish, happy life? Maybe. The fish all have names now. All eight of them and it is a pleasure to have these little creatures in my life. It would be a pleasure to see you at one of our up coming Wealthy Mind or NLP seminars and trainings. Check them out and see which one aligns with your personal beliefs and values. Having fun, being happy and experiencing amazing results is what we are all about. Sincerely Sharon Happy to be Feeling Special 02/28/2011
What makes you feel special? I called a friend of mine this morning to firm up some tentative plans we had made to get together later this week and improve our personal wealth coaching seminar. When she answered the phone the first thing she said was “I was thinking about you yesterday”. I loved hearing that. It makes me feel good that people are thinking about me. One of the people who attended my last NLP training said that every morning when she goes to her favorite coffee shop she does two things. She smiles at everyone she meets and says “Have a great day” to the person who waits on her. She said you can see instant results when you treat someone special. Some times receiving a special invitation to a party or changing beliefs event can feel really good too. One of the things I like to do is compliment people on their hair or something they are wearing. It doesn’t take much effort to make someone feel special and it is really worth it. A great side effect is that I get a little happiness kick when ever I do it. What would happen if we all took a few seconds to do one little thing each day to make someone feel special? I wonder if it would increase happiness exponentially? That would be really amazing. This has to be one of those secrets of success people talk about. What one little thing could you do to add to the “Happiness effect”? While you are considering that I’d like to extend to you a special invitation to attend our up coming Wealthy Mind Weekend and NLP seminars and trainings. We are all about you having a great time and have amazing results. Sincerely Sharon Happiness Success Training And Pets 02/14/2011
Do your pets make you happy? Do you even have a pet? About seven years ago I was going through some major transitions in my life. I was realizing some wealth and prosperity. I bought a house and refocused my career. You can imagine there was a lot of stress involved in the whole process. I was living alone for the first time in my life and while I welcomed the new experience it took some getting used to. Around Thanksgiving some friends of mine found a stray kitten and called me up to see if I would take it. At first all I could think was that I had too much work to do introducing nlp to the world and I wouldn’t have time for a pet. But, I agreed to meet the little creature. She was very sick so I took her to the vet to have her checked out. The vet gave me some medicine and instructions and I took her home. As she regained her health she became a bouncing happy little kitten and I realized that she was really good at playing. Something I had been too busy to even think about. Some times she hides behind a chair or door and waits till I walk by. Then she jumps out at me and it always gets me to laugh. Our pets can be a good reminder that it’s time to play and that can increase our level happiness. I’m inviting you to come, have fun and play with us at our next seminar the Wealthy Mind Weekend. We are all about you having an extraordinary experience and phenomenal results. Sincerely Sharon Have you ever been so happy that you thought you might blow a circuit? I am very happy when ever I am in the midst of a creative flow. I think I’ve always been like this. Painting, writing, inspiring conversations with my friends, writing a wish list of future NLP or wealth coaching events or cutting and pasting a vision board. One day I woke up with ideas and right after breakfast I started writing them down. The ides were flowing fast and furious. I was enjoying the creative flow so much that I didn’t get dressed until after noon. Even then my limiting beliefs made me a little apprehensive that if I got up to change the flow might stop. But it didn’t it just kept on flowing through me. I was having a great time. Around dinner time I began to wonder if I might just blow a circuit with so much creativity flowing for such an extended period of time. How wild is that? The old “don’t get too happy” belief was showing up in my mind. It was obviously time for me to practice the techniques I teach in my Wealthy Mind Weekend seminars. So I took a moment and called a fellow practitioner and had her run me through the processes that clear limiting beliefs. I have learned over the years that when I practice what I teach my life gets better and better. My personal values and beliefs continue to improve. And no matter how much better I get as long as I keep teaching I will always have something new to learn. What’s limiting your flow of happiness, success and wealth? Register now for our next Wealthy Mind Weekend Immersion or NLP training. I’m inviting you to join me in clearing what ever limitations are in your way to having what you want. Sincerely Sharon Happy Laughing People 02/07/2011
Remember the last time you had a really good laugh? I love to laugh. Years ago I had a friend. I’m not sure we really had all that much in common but when ever we got together we would laugh and laugh. And for the longest time I thought of her as my best friend. That’s how much I value laughter. I also have a group of friends, we call our group the “Pod” We meet once a week to give each other motivation, inspiration and support. We do this as part of our success training. We always laugh when we are together. One of our members started a blog called 3sisterslaughing. We’re not technically sisters but we do enjoy our weekly meetings. Researchers say that laughter increases your endorphins and boost your immune system. That elevates your mood and who doesn’t want that? In India a Physician named Dr. Madan Kataria started something called Laughter Yoga. People gather in the town square in the morning and practice laughing. It is spreading in popularity and people who are practicing it are improving more than their mood. A friend of mine has a three year old who will look up at her and say “lets laugh mommy”. We all start laughing about nothing and pretty soon, it really is funny. As part of my Neruo-Linguistic Training I teach that you can change your state by changing your posture, thoughts or emotions. Laughter does that really easily. The secrets to success could be as simple as spending some extra time laughing. Think of the people in your life who make you laugh. Then figure out how you can spend some more time with them. We are all looking to attract abundance of happiness. By now, you may also want to consider signing up for one of my seminars like the Wealthy Mind Weekend or NLP training. Once you have taken one of these trainings you could be laughing all the way to the bank. Sincerely Sharon |
